Esmé Schwall, a recipient of a 2024 Christopher Award for creative works that “affirm the highest values of the human spirit,” has co-authored numerous books in the areas of social justice, science, leadership, and personal growth, including New York Times and international bestsellers. She holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Arizona and lives in Portland, Oregon, with her two children.
